https://stein-collectors.org/library/articles/thewalt/thwI.htm),
A. J. Thewalt
1L Beer Stein with a Hinged Pewter Lid. It measures approximately 11.75 inches tall and has a wonderful theme :o) . . . "
Ein Schatzerl und ein Edelweiss"--
A sweetheart/treasure and an edelweiss . . . "
Sind des Jagers Ehrenpreis"--They're/
Are the hunter's finest/honorary prize/reward. The text is masterfully illustrated via the
hunter, his sweetheart, the deer and the flowers (edelweiss).
As pictured, it remains in excellent condition! It is clean, with no cracks, no chips, no stains, no funky smells, etc., and the lids works fine.
This will make a great addition to your bar, your man cave, your collection, your display, your inventory, etc., etc. It is
an ABSOLUTE STEAL Starting at Less Than !!!
I have included photos from every angle so you can see its quality, condition, markings, etc. Please do email me with any questions, comments, requests for additional pictures, etc. I am happy to reply. Don't miss this one as it is the only one I have to sell :o) Thank you for your interest and happy bidding . . .
NOTE:
If you live nearby to FL, please contact me for a shipping quote. If you're nearby there may be a better/less costly option.
I ship items the same day that I receive payment, save Sundays, holidays, or at the buyer's request. As always, I am happy to provide insurance or other services to buyers, but the choice to request and/or purchase additional services are yours. International shipping will be calculated upon request (Please do check in before bidding) and international buyers must use paypal. In addition, any/all import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the international buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up. Please do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. Finally, I will not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "‘gifts," as U.S. and international government regulations obviously prohibit such behavior.
A stein expert I am not . . . However, as noted above, folks who know a lot more than I do about steins
(see website above)
have determined that its markings identify it as A J Thewalt from between 1920-1930.
I do not accept returns (save an error on my part), so please shop with care, ask questions, request additional pictures, do your research, etc.,
before
bidding. As you can see from my comprehensive descriptions, open invitation for correspondence, 100% positive feedback, high scores on "Detailed Seller Ratings," etc., I am an honest seller who works very hard to please buyers.
