Vintage Peerless #16 Red Handle Ice Cream Scoop. The handle also has the branding "Our Own Hardware Company" on it. This scoop is sturdy. I almost don't want to part with it, my scoop(s) from the box stores keep breaking or bending. I had to take the dogs out after dark. I grab this scoop as my weapon of choice, because if I hit someone in the head it will do some damage. That is how strong this item is.
This scoop has scoop many a bowls of ice over the decades. You can tell by the wear and tear that it shows. It was certainly a kitchen favorite of the chef or kids.
Your chance to own a piece if history. Despite being well used. This scoop feels well made and has lots of meals left to make.
