    German ceramic, etched, 1/2 L, missing pewter lid.
    The text on the body reads:
    “
    Mit Trinken Singen und Lieben werden die Grillen vertrieben.
    ”
    And translates to
    :
    "With drinking, singing and loving bad thoughts are chased away."
    Condition and Description:
    Overall in good condition.  The only knocks: missing the pewter lid and some interior soiling (appears it was used as a vase by a prior owner).  Kind of a folksy and merry stein, still has decent color and presence too.  The base has the Girmscheid mark, but no number - also it appears to be an undocumented specimen as I could not find it in the beerstein library...

    On the subject of shipping and handling, I have a 100% success rate(knock on wood) with the steins I have packed and shipped arriving to their new homes in perfect condition.  This stein will be well packed and shipped fully insured, USPS priority or Fedex home.
