    by Edward Boykin is a collection of letters Thomas Jefferson wrote to his children and grandchildren during his lifetime.  Boykin served as the head of the Thomas Jefferson Bicentennial Commission in 1943.  He is considered one of the most knowledgeable historians of his time on Thomas Jefferson.  His work in this book is exceptional and he was often not thought of for his contribution to historical documentation that he deserved.   This book is some of Boykin's finest work, it is in Fine Condition for its age and an exceptional value.
