Thomas Jefferson Monticello Relic. An approximately 1” x 1” piece of the Tulip Poplar Thomas Jefferson planted adjacent to the West Lawn Portico at Monticello on April 16, 1807. It is housed in a 5” x 7” frame with overall dimensions of 8” x 10”. The matting design is a replica of wallpaper known to have been used at Monticello during Jefferson’s time. I personally obtained the wood at Monticello in 2016. Please ask any questions prior to bidding/buying. The relic will ship free USPS Priority Mail insured. Thanks for looking.
