Offered is a beautiful collectible Texas style stein, 10 1/2" tall, complete with the "Lone Star" on the lid.  This Lindner Porcelain classic was made in Bavaria specifically for the 1986 Sesquicentennial, celebrating 150 years of Texas-German Heritage.  Only 500 were made, and this has the low number of 35, authenticated with the Lindner certificate, which is included in the purchase.  As indicated in the certificate, "this beer stein is shaped fully by hand, kiln fired four times at 2550 degrees and decorated with genuine cobalt and real gold."  Holding the stein up to the light, the state of Texas can be seen inside the bottom - authentic lithophane artwork.  The pewter lid with porcelain star is designed to keep your brew cold and ready.  Truly a magnificent stein and historical tribute to the "Great State of Texas."  It's in like-new condition, never used and only displayed in a smoke free, pet free home.  It has no chips, nicks, scratches or defects of any kind.  Produced by Lindner, exclusively for Opa's House, New Braunfels, TX, in conjunction with the Texas - Germany Committee.
