Description

This auction is for a signed copy of the arrest report of Lee Harvey Oswald who was found to be responsible for the assasination of President John F Kennedy (JFK) in 1963.
The report comes
framed, measuring 29.75" x 15.25" overall, has 2pp of a signed statement of the captors of Oswald. A typed copy of the report, dated November 22, 1963, addressed to J.E. Curry, Chief of Dallas Police. The statement describes the "Apprehension of suspect in the Death of the President of the United States and Officer J.D. Tippit" and is signed by "Gerald L. Hill" as Sergeant of Police, "Ray Hawkins" as Acc. Investigator, "Paul Bentley" as Detective, and "M.N. McDonald" as Patrolman. The report is matted and framed with a photograph of the elderly captors signing the report. All documents are in very fine condition with bold signatures.  There is a COA for the signatures attached to the back of the frame.
