    Description

    This is a letter from Franklin D. Roosevelt, when he was the governor of New York, dated February 26, 1931 on official letterhead. It is addressed to a doctor S. S. Goldwater, inviting him to be a member of a “Committee for the Review of Medical and Hospital Problems in connection with Workman’s Compensation.“
    Also included is an original black and white 8x10ish photo of Roosevelt From a Jack Bros. Studio in New York. Please note that both items have some pencil marks on them and some tape on the back from when they were previously matted and framed. I’m sure marks could be erased, but I have chosen to leave them as found. See all photos.
