This is an original, vintage Ronald Reagan White House Presidential Guest Pin gifted to a member of the Reagan Administration who worked in the White House. These pins were issued by the Secret Service to vetted White House guests who were cleared for access to the President. The pin was required to be worn at all times while in the White House and returned upon departure. The pin measures approx 0.75" x 0.75", is made of gold-tone metal and black enamel, and is emblazoned with
the Presidential Seal, and numbered with 024 appearing on the back-side of the pin
. For security purposes, pin designs were occasionally modified. Vintage numbered Reagan White House Presidential Guest Pins are exceptionally rare and especially prized.
