Description
Ronald Reagan and the 1966 Gubernatorial Campaign in Los Angeles, CaliforniaIn California in 1966, I became an official "Reagan Girl" the summer I graduated from high school. Ronald Reagan was running for Governor.
I attended several rallies and events, and collected pamphlets, articles, bumper stickers, pins, and whatever I could.
These were taped into a large scrapbook, where they remained until now.
After 55 years, the tape of course yellowed, fell off,
and left little marks on the corners of many of the items.
Bumper stickers had backing side areas removed so they would adhere to the scrapbook page.
Backings are still on the rest of the sticker, but adhesive is weak after decades.
These vintage items are still collectible, and show an era of American history and politics now mostly forgotten.
Please check the photos, as I tried to show backs and fronts of the items, and any tears.
