    Description

    Presented here is a RARE METTLCH POKAL. A POKAL is a ceremonial drinking vessel that are a carry-over from the elegance and pageantry eras.  Only a small number of pokals were made by METTLACH.  Several Mettlach versions  used the same body decoration of as large stein.  The Pokal is large being 12" high from the base to the top of the body and it is 5" in diameter.  The whole  lamp is 18" from the base to the top of the lamp. The body and the base is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.  The lid is missing and there is a small hole under the base where the wire was put in.
