    Estate sale find... From the estate of Carl Barho, art dealer and friend of US Presidents and Texas governors!
    Barho was also a meticulous collector who saved every piece of correspondence from his friends.
    This postcard, sent out on behalf of Jerry Nugent, then running for a seat on the Texas Board of Education,
    was hand-signed by Luci Johnson Nugent, who was married, at the time to Patrick Nugent.
    I think he lost the election, but cannot find a news story to corroborate this.
    I have not seen another surviving card from this campaign, much less one signed by Luci!
