    PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY!!!....Another original b/w 8" x 11.5" UPI (United Press International) telephoto of President Richard Nixon meeting with Admiral Sir Nigel Henderson of the British Royal Navy. This type of photo is different than your typical b/w glossy photo. It is called a "wirephoto" or "laserphoto" due to the process used to send or receive actual photographs over telephone lines to speed up the transmission of information to/from press rooms of newspapers & other publications during the 1950s-1970s. It was similar to "faxing". The backsides of these type photos are brown (instead of white) due to the paper used in the process. The photo itself has a slight brownish tint to it as well.  The backside of this photo is blank (no written or typed info). Typed info about this photo appears on the top border. That info includes a date (Feb 26th 1971). It is in pretty nice condition with some light marks. This photo came out of a folder marked "politics" in one of mom's paper/ephemera file cabinets.
