This is stage coach trunk that belonged to former President James Buchanan. I bought this trunk and a daguerreotype of Buchanan including a sizable archive of correspondence from him decades ago from a collector friend of mine who is now deceased. The trunk has been in my personal collection including the daguerreotype since that time. I sold the correspondence through major auction houses and kept the trunk and daguerreotype. The trunk roughly measures 34 inches long and roughly 25 inches in height.

This is stage coach trunk that belonged to former President James Buchanan. I bought this trunk and a daguerreotype of Buchanan including a sizable archive of correspondence from him decades ago from a collector friend of mine who is now deceased named Robert Cauthen. The trunk has been in my personal collection including the daguerreotype since that time. I sold the correspondence through major auction houses and kept the trunk and daguerreotype as promised to Mr. Cauthen while he was alive.
The trunk roughly measures 34 inches long and roughly 25 inches in height.
