Once again you have remembered the Bushes - and in one of our very favorite ways.  The flowers are magnificent, and you have made Barbara Bush very happy, indeed.  So many thanks.
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas, and may 2002 be your happiest year ever.
On back is a typed letter from Barbara Bush - signed "Barbara" and with a handwritten postscript.  July 2, 2001.
Osborne unfortunately affixed all his correspondence to album pages using double-sided tabs - in the corners and at the center sides. They probably could be removed with some care but we are offering them cheaper with them still affixed as such.  The original envelope is affixed at the bottom of the George Bush letter.
Jennings Osborne was a wealthy Arkansas philanthropist.  He was well-known for his Christmas light display which could be seen from the air from miles away.  He was forced to turn them off in a case that went all the way to the Supreme Court.  He was friends with Republicans and Democrats alike - and was a constant correspondent with his friend George Bush.
