Included is the two-step process of water treatment for drinking water: Drinking Water Germicidal Tablets for water treatment to make water bacteriologically suitable to drink, and PA Plus tablets to neutralize the after-taste and color. Drop two germicidal emergency water purification tablets for drinking into one quart (one liter) of contaminated water, and cap loosely for a small amount of leakage. After five minutes, shake the container to sanitize screw threads, then tighten the cap. Allow 30 minutes for the water purification tablets to disinfect before adding two PA Plus tablets. Shake well, and wait three minutes for purified, ready-to-drink water. A great addition to your camping gear or emergency preparedness kit, these water treatment tablets are effective against bacteria and Giardia lamblia. Potable Aqua is a lightweight backup to your water filter straw, gravity filter, or hand pump water filter.
