    Pair Of 1963 John F. Kennedy, Political, Satirical, Medals, one each Silver and Bronze.  Listed in Mayhew as E1-b who states the mintage figures as Silver 100 struck, and bronze 1000 struck. The Silver is very scarce and rarely ever appears for sale, and the Bronze seldom appears for sale either.  Both pieces are in prooflike uncirculated condition, 32 mm diameter, and with choice full mint lustre.  Because the silver so rarely appears, I have a suspicion that most of the silvers were melted because it was not politically correct for the time.
