ASSASSINATION OF JOHN F. KENNEDY. Original felt tip sketch of “President Kennedy’s Wounds as I saw them” hand-drawn and signed, “by R. McClelland, M.D., June 26, 2018,” the surgeon at Parkland Hospital who attended to John F. Kennedy after he was shot on November 22, 1963.
ORIGINAL SKETCH OF “PRESIDENT KENNEDY’S WOUNDS AS I SAW THEM” HAND-DRAWN AND SIGNED BY PARKLAND HOSPITAL SURGEON ROBERT MCCLELLAND
McClelland’s sketch shows President Kennedy’s head in profile with two entrance wounds to the front and two exit wounds to the back: a “5 mm” wound at the hair line and “5 mm” wound to lower neck. The back features another “5mm” wound and the back of the head shows the large “12 cm exit wound.” McClelland has always maintained that the mortal wound—the head wound—came from the front, likely fired from the ‘Grassy Knoll’ ahead of Kennedy’s motorcade. He maintains that there were at least two shooters and that the assassination was likely a conspiracy involving government elements.
