    Description

    For sale is an original invitation from President Woodrow Wilson and wife to prominent US military figure George Fort for a reception at the White House on 4 February 1916.
    Invitation has an embossed gilt eagle at the top and. comes with its original postmarked White House envelope, as well as a second envelope that went inside and housed the invite proper. There is some light staining on the invite and envelopes.
