Old 2L Lidded Beer Stein - not perfect

Description

This beer stein says it's a 2L, it's about 15" tall.  The number 548 is on the bottom, along with what looks like a 71 scratched in the bottom.  I am selling this for a friend and I know NOTHING about beer steins.  I have no idea how old it is, where it was made, etc.  I know, in this case I am useless.  But that can be to your advantage.  This beer stein may be worth a few hundred dollars, even with the crack in the handle and the 3" crack on the inside of the stein.  So you could have a real winner here and I wouldn't have any idea.  More power to you!!
