Hoya B-410 UV-Pass Camera Filter, 52mm and other sizes, Ultraviolet, and Dual Band IR, Photography.
This is 2mm thick Hoya B-410 glass.  I have other thicknesses available (check my other listings, or ask me to list one if you are interested).
If you get 86mm, please tell me if you want 0.75mm thread pitch (medium), or 1mm thread pitch (coarse).
This filter is quality made from genuine Hoya B-410 optically polished filter glass. Precision crafted size, thickness, and edges.
Custom mounted in a quality standard sized camera filter frame (with front and rear threads). Cut and mounted in the USA.
(Schott filter glass is the very best premium quality filter glass in the world. If you want a quality filter then get one that is made of Schott filter glass)

Used for:  UV+Blue+Green photography, and dual band UV/IR photography
This filter passes UV and Blue/Green in the 260nm to 610nm range (or 310nm to 530nm @50% transmission), it blocks red visual light, and it transmits IR above 700nm (or above 740nm @50% transmission), please see graph above (when I add one).
Ultraviolet + Visual Mix photography use:
Hoya B-410 can be used to capture a mixed range of UV + Blue and Green visual spectrum when stacked with an appropriate IR suppression filter (such as S8612, BG40, BG39, or BG38, check my listings for those if needed).
Dual Band use:  This filter can be used alone on a full spectrum converted camera for dual band infrared photography.
