This is a GENUINE ICOM Microphone that comes in it's own ICOM box and packaging - This original ICOM product has the "hang up button" on the back and NOT a loop connector that hangs on a hook.
Please note one of the pictures I've taken showing the ground wire between the hang up button and circuit board is attached.  Some ICOM radios can be programmed via software to scan either while the microphone is on a grounded hang up clip or not.  Other ICOM radios, such as the FS121S won't scan unless the microphone is on a grounded hang up clip.
