AS PRESIDENT, October 12, 1923, The White House Washington stationery, 7x8.75, to Congressman Charles G. Washburn, in full:
Thank you very much for your letter of the 10th.  It was a real pleasure to have you with us, and I am exceedingly glad that you found your stay interesting and enjoyable.
Thank you also for the enclosure.  It is a good poem and contains good advice.
Matted and framed with the original Western Union Telegram sent by Coolidge to Washburn inviting him to the White House.  Both the letter and telegram are initialed by Washburn at lower right.
Toning to both items.  Very large and dark Coolidge signature.
