Up for sale is this original book titled "
Biographical Memoirs of the Illustrious General George Washington, Late President of the United States of America, and Commander in Chief of Their Armies, During the Revolutionary War"
.  It has in two blank pages in the front that have written "James Ashmead his book" in old fountain pen ink.
The cover page states it was
printed in 1825 by Robert Porter, Wilmington Delaware.
In good condition with some foxing and water staining as pictured above.  It has 72 pages not including the two blank pages in front and two blank pages in back. Book cover measures 3.5"x5.5" tall and is hardbound with original taped spine.  The images above are a sampling of the contents.
I inherited this from my grandmothers estate long ago so I know nothing about it.
I am not a book dealer so I am letting you decide on the condition and value via the photographs above.
