    Mettlach - Mold No. 2065
    German ceramic, etched, 2.4L, signed Schlitt, missing lid.
    The text on the body reads:
    “
    Kannst du trinken, kannst du lieben, thu’s nicht morgen, thu es heut.
    Gutes Werk auf Morgen schieben hat schon mancher Thor bereut.
    ”
    And translates to:
    "
    If you can drink, if you can love, don’t do it tomorrow, do it today.
    Good work postponed until tomorrow has already been repented by many fools
    .
    "
    Overall body is in nearly mint condition - the only major issue to note - the original jeweled inlaid lid is, unfortunately, missing.  This particular version of Stein came in two versions, one 1.5L the other 2.4L, this one happens to be the larger version.  Also, very strong color on this particular specimen.  The pictures do the talking...
