The stein measures 4 3/4" in diameter by 9" tall while the handle extends 2"
It will hold 0.75 Litres which is equal to 25.36 American ounces.
This stein was created to honor those who served during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Their patriotism, discipline and self-sacrifice have not gone unnoticed.
The body of the stein is a smooth, black glazed, high quality stoneware decorated with a platinum wrap around design.
Along the top border of the stein are the words
The Liberation of Iraq
Along both sides of the stein are a timeline beginning with the birth of Saddam Hussein
and ending with his capture on December 13, 2003.
A pewter medallion featuring a map of Iraq with an eagle clutching a U.S. flag and the words
Operation Iraqi Freedom
is fixed opposite the handle of the stein.
Framing the medallion on the body of the stein are the words,
FREEDOM AND JUSTICE FOR ALL
and
ALL GAVE SOME...SOME GAVE ALL.
Above the medallion are a pair of crossed swords.
Surrounding the medallion are the seals of all of the branches of the United States Military
along with other military images.
Rows of raised stars decorate the ornamental pewter lid and fixed to the top
is an intricately detailed pewter figurine of a desert military helmet resting on top of a U.S. flag.
A pewter version of the U.S. eagle crest serves as the thumb lift for this noble stein.
Each stein is brand new and has never been used
and comes in its own custom fitted gift box
as shown at the right
