Antique Gilchrist No. 31 Vintage Ice Cream Scoop (size 8) Wood Handle ca 1914

Description

For sale is a Gilchrist 31 wood and metal ice cream scoop.  The scoop size is 8 which is imprinted on the interior of the scooper.  Handle is wooden with no cracks.  Item shows wear from use such as scratches, age discoloration etc.  Overall in excellent antique condition.  The Gilchrist 31 was made in 1914 or earlier as it was advertised in magazine ads in 1914 (see last picture).  Scoop measures about 11-1/2" long.
