Description
Two newspaper sections. One is the front page newspaper section of the November 3, 1976 Fort Worth Star Telegram with the headline "Carter declared winner". Fairly embarrassing photo of the President Elect, his wife and daughter Amy who has decided to take off her sock and pick her toes. I am also including an interior section of The National Star from June 29, 1974 with an article titled "Governor Jimmy is Running for the No. 2 Spot" indicating he might be a contender for the vice presidential ticket in the next election. For the Star Telegram, double fold (horizontal and vertical), some minor edge chipping and tears. Small hole in center on fold line. Otherwise in good condition. For the National Star, edge chipping and tears, center fold, some ink scribbles on margin of first page. Please see photo as it is a part of the description and shows the actual item you will receive. Please see my other sales and auctions for additional curiosities, oddities, fossils, minerals, antiques, antiquities, art, books, toys, collectibles and clothing.
