1963 Vintage CECIL STOUGHTON Photo JOHN F. KENNEDY JACKIE CHILDREN Easter 8 x 10

Description

Vintage photo of President John F. Kennedy, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, and their children Caroline and John, the original negative taken by Cecil Stoughton in 1963 (possibly later generation print), the matte-finish silver-gelatin print measuring 8" x 10", in the original transmittal envelope with cardboard stiffener bearing Mrs. Kennedy's New York return address label with printed franking signature. A bit of wear to envelope (felt tip effacement to original recipient, whose name and address are still visible beneath), otherwise fine, crisp, attractive condition.
The image, by JFK's official White House photographer, Cecil Stoughton, depicts the Kennedy family after Easter mass at the private chapel of the Joseph P. Kennedy estate in Palm Springs, Florida on April 14, 1963. (The original negative is housed at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.) The mailing label with New York return address suggests that the photo was sent by Mrs. Kennedy (to a woman in Swampscott, Massachusetts) after JFK's assassination.

2) Most sellers (by the end of 2020, all sellers) are now required to enroll in eBay's Managed Payments program. As part of this program,
eBay holds every buyer's payment for two business days before releasing it to the seller.
This means that if you pay late on a Thursday night, your payment will not clear until at least Tuesday. If you pay on a Monday morning, your payment will not clear until at least Wednesday. Again, please take this into account.
