Description
****Here is a very nice Imperial German beer stein, commemorating the service for a Mr. Thomas Feurle. This stein shows Bavarian soldiers around artillery pieces, with a very good forward scene of the regiment moving their cannons by horse, with a central pickelhaube helmet over an artillery shell, with a sword, horn, a Bavarian flag, and an Imperial German flag. On the sides are soldiers drinking with a bar maid, and the other is soldiers at work behind their cannon. The back of the stein has the names of the men who served in this regiment behind the handle, which is painted with oak leaves. A cannon rests on top of the lid, with a Bavarian lion holding up a shield for the thumb lever. This stein also has a lithophane present on the inside. There is no maker's mark present on the bottom of this stein. It measures approximately 10 inches tall.............See Images****
