  • Condition: Great group of historic 35mm slides stamp-dated "May 68". Most show Richard Nixon and/or Pat Nixon at a rally in Omaha Nebraska in May of 1968. One just shows Pat. One shows audience only. One misses Nixon as he's hidden by crowds. I especially love the movement and frenzy in the first image shown but there's lots of great images. Color and details in light and dark areas is much better than my scans show. On the internet I found a copy of a Nixon Rally advertisement from May 1, 1968 which read: May 6, 1968 at Omaha Civic Auditorium. "Be there when Richard Nixon speaks out on the leading issues of the day. This will be one of his most important appearances of the campaign -- so don't miss it! . . . Mrs. Nixon will be there too." Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition.

Kennedy a month after this rally in June 1968.
